First we build a scope for ourselves. To do this, We first read what the Bible says. Next, we interpret the text in its context. Then we try to understand the text in the scope of book in which we are studying the text. After that, we try to identify what it’s significance is in relation to the whole Bible including its major themes and story lines. We don’t stop here though.
Next, we meditate on way to live life in light of God’s explanation of the world to us. We discuss the significant issues that confront Christians on a day to day basis such as how does the fall of Genesis 3 affect marriage relationships today? In doing so, we are constantly encouraged by God’s faithfulness to speak into our lives through what he has spoken by the power of His Spirit.
